Information we collect

We do not collect personal information from you to browse or use this site. There is no account, newsletter signup, or checkout on Flash Deal Finder. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, postal address, payment details, or Social Security number as a condition of using the site.

If you choose to use the Get in Touch form, we receive whatever you include (typically your name, email address, and message) so we can reply. That form is hosted by Tally, who processes the submission on our behalf. You do not have to contact us to use the site.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site: which pages are read, roughly where traffic comes from, and what devices people use. Google Analytics may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. Google processes that data under its own privacy policy.

Google Ads

We use Google Ads (including Google AdSense) to show advertising on the site. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, and measure whether ads are working. Those ads may be based on your visits to this site and other sites (interest-based advertising).

You can opt out of Google interest-based ads in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of many third-party interest-based ads at aboutads.info or networkadvertising.org.

Cookies and similar technologies

Google Analytics, Google Ads, and similar tools use cookies and related technologies to remember preferences, measure traffic, and serve or limit ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Some features or ads may not work as well if you do.

Affiliate links

Flash Deal Finder is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

We also take part in other affiliate programs. If you click a shop or product link and later buy something, we may earn a commission. Those retailers and networks collect information under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment details from those purchases.

When we share information

We do not sell your name, email, or a contact list. We do not collect that kind of information unless you send it to us. We may share information with:

• Service providers who host the site, deliver content, measure traffic (including Google Analytics), or help us run advertising (including Google Ads), only as needed for that work
• Advertising and affiliate partners, as described above. Under some privacy laws, interest-based ads can count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context advertising. You can opt out using the links in Google Ads.
• Authorities when we believe disclosure is required by law, a valid legal request, or to protect visitors, the site, or others
• A successor if the site is sold, merged, or transferred, in which case this policy (or a notice replacing it) would still apply

Retailers, TV-segment sources, and other sites we link to have their own policies. We are not responsible for how they collect or use information once you leave this site.

Retention and security

We keep optional contact messages only as long as we need them to reply and run the site. Google Analytics and Google Ads retain the technical data they collect under their own policies. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No website can guarantee complete security.

Your choices

You can control cookies in your browser, use the Google Analytics and Google Ads opt-outs above, and stop contacting us at any time. If you write to us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence from our inbox, subject to any legal retention need.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion or correction, opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not collect personal information to use the site, and we do not sell personal information for money. Interest-based advertising through Google Ads may be "sharing" as California defines it. Use the opt-out links in Google Ads, or contact us through Get in Touch with the subject "California Privacy Rights."

California's Shine the Light law also lets you ask once per year for a list of third parties that received certain personal information for their own direct marketing. Attest that you are a California resident and include a current California postal address for our response.

Children

This site is meant for a general audience 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, contact us through Get in Touch and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Please check this page when you want the current version.
